About Me

Born in South Korea into a military family, Grammy-nominated and Dove Award-winning guitarist Alex Williams began his musical journey on drums at age three, playing alongside his grandfather and father’s blues band. He later picked up saxophone in school ensembles before discovering guitar in eighth grade, quickly joining bands and performing throughout high school.

After earning a degree in Guitar Performance and Music Business from Berklee College of Music, Alex moved to Nashville in 2016 and began touring professionally on TobyMac’s Hits Deep tour with Hollyn. He has since toured and performed with artists including Jen Ledger (Skillet), Bryce Vine, Lauren Jauregui (Fifth Harmony), and Charlie Wilson (The GAP Band), appearing at major festivals, arenas, and national television broadcasts.

Now based in Los Angeles, Alex continues to record, produce, and tour internationally. He is currently the touring guitarist for Grammy-nominated and Dove Award-winning artist Forrest Frank. In 2020, Alex and his wife Rachael founded Allegra Music Academy, a premier music education studio in Tarzana, California. That same year, he launched the Go Further Music Education Foundation to bring accessible, high-quality music education to underserved youth.
